A beautiful day at Ale stones by the sea….

If you ever come to Skåne and Österlen I would highly recommend a visit to a beautiful historical place called Ale stones (Ale stenar) at Kåseberga. Ale stones is a great place with breathtaking natur, and it is the largest remaining stone ship setting in Sweden. Me and my family comes here several times every summer and it is wonderful.

There are different theories about what this stone ship setting means, and Ale stones is really a fascinating place for both children and grownups.

Me and my family love our visits at Ale stones, and we also enjoy the beautiful light, the nature, and to look at the beautiful Baltic sea…..

Ay Ale stones there is a lot to do….

The children loves to climb up and down from the top Kåsehuvud to the sea, and up again.

This is great exersice and somethimes the children fly with their kites. Ale stones just a perfect place for that, it is always pretty windy!!

It is a great feeling to feel free and to fly in the fantastic nature of Österlen for both children and others…

This is really a magic place, also the cows are free and happy!!!

Looking at this cows walking and eating with no stress is just fantastic. This is the way it always should be for everyone, nice and relaxed.

There was several sheep walking along.

This pretty one, seemed very relaxed and friendly, looking at the flowers ”Vallmo” that is so common here. It is nice to see free animals having a happy time!

The nature here in combination with free animals, see and light is just marvellous…

We really look forward to next summer so we can visit this wonderful place again…

A beautiful day at Ale stones by the sea……  in July 2011

The swedish poet Anders Österling wrote;

”Between the sea and heaven cants the coast there Ale raised a giant ship of stones, recumbent where the glare of light dispersed in the darkned stillness of the forms recanciles, saga obscured shrouded to the tones of the Baltic, a memorial whose secred alone it conceals”
